When you close the game, do it close normally or do it generate an error ? You could try removing everything in your UNPACK folder and have it re-patch ...

Get the latest installer, its 1,6Gb and only needs about 30ish Mb for patch iirc. ( Did a recent reinstall myself ). (Though I saw you IG today so )
